Mechanical engineering is the most versatile branch. It mainly concern with design and manufacturing of machine component. The department of Mechanical Engineering is well equipped with labs and amenities for Mechanical Engineering Section.
There are following laboratories in department :
- liermal Engineering Lab/Power Engg. Lab
- Drawing and Design Lab
- lieory of Machine Lab
- Metrology and Quality Control Lab
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Lab
- Workshop
There is also Computerized Numerical Controlled machine like CNC Lathe. Considering the basic equipments of Mechanical Engineering, the college has a specious and well equipped workshop. There are total 18 Lathe Machines, Three Shaping Machine, Two Milling Machine, One Radial Drilling Machine, One Surface Grinder and large number of general Machinery in the workshop. Number of projects are completed successfully. Some complete projects are used as laboratory equipments. The highlighted project completed so far:
- Pelton wheel turbine test rig
- Fatigue testing machine
We also impart Industrial Training for having Industrial exposer to the student. We have M.O.U with Indo German Tool Room, Indore, and Orion Wire Ropes Etc.
